NGE, SERAP sue NBC ‘over threat to sanction broadcasters for expressing opinions’

The Nigerian Guild of Editors and the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project have filed a lawsuit against the National Broadcasting Commission. The legal action is in response to alleged threats by the regulatory body to penalize broadcasting stations and journalists for expressing their personal views during television and radio programs.
